Official notification: novel dates instead of the 7th April initially planned

As a consequence of numerous late  online abstract submissions, the official notification to authors took place on the  10th May instead of the 7th April initially planned
Now, the online abstract submision system is definitively closed, but everyone can register.
 All authors selected for poster have been already notified by email. The speakers have been informed about the distribution between 40-min +10 min discussion OR 25-min +5 min discussion  OR 17-min +3 min discussion .

 

Please note that the early-bird fares of registration are extended to  the 21st May (instead of the 7th initially planned) to stay in parallel whith the dates for the joint congress 4th FHS. Click now on registation button for register before a 10% increase.

 

The scientific and the social programmes are under construction but a current list of 60 contributions  is available on the programme page:

First Announcement version of the AOC2012 Website

The International Amine Oxidase Conference is a scientific workshop, held every two years, for the presentation and discussion of all aspects of amine oxidase research. The meeting is attended by leading academic and industrial research scientists, and their trainees, from around the world.

In 2012, the 15th workshop will be hosted by Dr. Christian Carpéné and Pr. Angelo Parini in Toulouse, France. The meeting will start on Monday July 16th and will close on Wednesday evening with an invited lecture shared with the 4th Health Food Symposium, followed by a wine and cheese party.

The 2012 AOConference will carry on the tradition of bringing together researchers working in the areas of monoamine oxidases and copper amine oxidases, and will incorporate discussions of the roles of dietary amines (either biogenic and food process-related). There are many physiological and pathological concerns related to the amine oxidases and their  substrates, among them, the relationship between polyamines, inflammation and cancer. As previous AO meetings, this workshop will explore these links through discussion of the latest advances between researchers from different areas.

This website will be updated regularly to provide researchers with all the information they will need to arrange their trip to France in Summer of 2012 and to present the definitive social and scientific programmes, once the registrations and abstract submissons have been validated.
